You are at the bottom of the meadow. The ground here slopes gently downwards to the south, and becomes lost in foliage. Through the leaves, you can see occasional glimpses of water, revealing that you are actually looking at the edge of a swamp.

Among the many leaves, you can see a few brilliant purple irises.

To the northwest, you can see tall grass and an odd depression in the grass.

To the north, along the edge of the meadow, the meadow continues very gently uphill towards a few low blackberry bushes.

To the west, you can see some brilliant purple irises.

To the east, your way is blocked by a tangled thicket of blackberry brambles that grow along the edge of the meadow.

To the south, the swamp extends off into the distance.
