You are standing in the midst of grass and horsetail ferns near the bottom of the meadow. There is a twisted piece of sun-bleached driftwood sitting incongruously within the meadow grass here.

The driftwood seems rather out of place amidst the grass here. Apparently, the water level here was once much higher than it is now.

To the north, the meadow continues very gently uphill towards hundreds of brilliant red flowers, a few brilliant orange flowers, and a few tall white flowers.

To the west, you can see horsetail ferns and grass.

To the east, you can see a region filled with thousands of horsetail ferns.

To the south, the meadow seems almost flat, sloping very gently downhill towards tall grass and an odd depression in the grass.

To the southeast, you can see a few low blackberry bushes. In the distance, you can see blackberry brambles at the edge of the meadow.
